We are proud to say that we are working with a network of very caring and dedicated host families which have been carefully selected by I.S.H. and Police Vetted.
Host families treat their international host as a member of the family. Residing with a host family is the fastest way to improving your English in Ireland as both family and host student must communicate in English.
Many host families have children in the local schools in which we place our International Students. This inspires confidence and familiarity with all concerned.
Host students are expected to behave with respect & decorum at all times and act responsibly. They must comply with the rules within the household.
We, at the International Students’ Hub are in regular contact with both the host family and student so as to ensure that the International Student is settling and integrating at the heart of this Irish family. Unannounced visits to the host house take place on a regular basis to check on how both family and student are getting along.
Host families and students have access to a 24/7 emergency telephone number and we, at the Hub are on standby and whatever problem or issue might arise, we will take care of it.
A set of guidelines is given to both host families and students prior to accommodating new guests.
A student contract must be signed by both students and parents.
